Montgomery, AL – The Auburn University men’s basketball team has been using the offseason to get in shape to make a run under second-year head coach Bruce Pearl.
Coach Pearl believes his players are getting bigger and stronger this summer which he believes will pay off this winter. One player getting in shape is Forward Cinmeon Bowers, who has lost 20 pounds this offseason. “Just talks about his discipline. He’s changed the way he eats, he’s changed the way he sleeps, he’s changed the way he’s trained, and just making progress maturing,” said Pearl.
Several players played in the League of Stars Pro Am at Carver High School in Birmingham this past weekend.
