MONTGOMERY, AL— Mervyl Meledez turns down the vacant head baseball coaching job at the University of New Orleans.
Meledez has won 120 games during his four years at Alabama State University and led the Hornets to the 2015 SWAC Eastern Division Championship
He did not accept the offer due to the six-figure buy clause in his contract with ASU.
