The City of Prattville wants to expand its parks and recreation areas.

The City held a public forum Thursday night to get some input.
Residents came out to voice what they would like to see improvements on within in the community. Some ideas included better soccer and lacrosse fields.

“As a soccer dad with two young kids in soccer, I’d like to see the current facilities improved. Our fields on Upper Kingston Park are not in the greatest condition, and especially when we just went to Auburn a few months ago, ours looked like cow pastures compared to them,” said Eric McGreevy.

The company conducting the capital improvements plan will give an online survey to get more input. Then they will come up with a master plan to present to the city council in October.
