Suspect in Selma Triple Shooting Facing Capital Murder Charge

From the West Alabama Newsroom–  Selma Police make an arrest in the city’s latest murder.

Twenty-six year old Marcus Brown of Selma is behind bars charged with capital murder — and two counts of attempted murder.

Lt. Curtis Muhannad says Brown turned himself in to police in connection with the Wednesday night triple shooting that killed a man and injured two others.

“One of the victims had been shot in the head. Another victim had been shot in the abdomen and in the leg and the other victim had been shot in the hand,” said Muhannad.

Brown is being held in the Dallas County Jail with out bond.

Muhannad said police are actively searching for two more suspects in the shooting.
