Fatal Hit and Run Under Investigation in Dallas Co.

From the West Alabama Newsroom– ALEA state troopers are investigating a fatal hit and run in Dallas County.
Authorities say 26 year old Joseph Edward Johnson of Deatsville died after being hit by a car early Sunday morning in Valley Grande.
They say it happened at the intersection of Highway 14 and County Road 209. They say Johnson was hit after he got out of the vehicle he was driving.
“At some point he exited the vehicle and got ran over,” said District Attorney Michael Jackson. “The body is being transported to the Department of Forensic Science.”
No arrests have been made in the case.
