TUSKEGEE, AL— lready the favorite to repeat as SIAC Champs, Tuskegee is seeking to add a big-time FBS transfer to its arsenal. Tuskegee has been granted permission by Michigan to talk to return specialist Dennis Norfleet, according to MLive.com.

Norfleet’s status with Michigan has been in limbo since the spring, when reports surfaced that he was kicked off the team by head coach Jim Harbaugh. That’s not the case, however.

Norfleet had been given an opportunity to find his way back into the program by Harbaugh throughout the summer, according to a source close to the receiver. The source also explained how Harbaugh was more than fair with Norfleet throughout the summer, and gave the receiver a real chance of getting back in the program’s good graces.

The 5’7, 168-pound receiver/specialist already holds Michigan’s career records for kickoff returns and yards. If he transfers down to D2, he could play immediately.
