Seven students graduated from Hope Inspired Ministries Thursday night.
The program helps those who are going through hard times or can’t find work by putting its students through 13 weeks of intense classroom and internship experiences.
Teachers work with the students on things like basic life skills and earning a GED.
“What we see in our students is they have no idea what their own gifts and talents are and they have no idea how to develop those in order to become successful. So we help them down that path, we build relationship with them, and we help them to recognize that they have the ability to be self sufficient, productive citizens in our community,” said HIM Founder Michael Coleman.
“Struggling with depression, I felt lost. It was hard, so I decided to get my life back on track and I gave Hope Inspired Ministries a try. And it was great,” said graduate Euricka Mack.
