Lanier High School Class of 1990 Cleans Up Campus
While the 2015 school year is just around the corner, Sidney Lanier High School’s class of 1990 celebrated their 25th class reunion by cleaning up their old high school campus. Nearly 30 former students and 20 other volunteers took part in a community service project at the high school.
They planted flowers and trimmed hedges to help clean up the landscaping. They also spruced up the inside of the school by giving some classrooms a new coat of pain.
Sidney Lanier’s principal says he’d like clean up projects like this to happen more often.
Next week, Lanier High School is hosting a back to school rally and an alumni picnic.
