Authorities are investigating who drove a car in a Montgomery pond. The car was found submerged in the pond Monday morning around 6:30. Montgomery County Sheriffs and Montgomery Fire Rescue were dispatched to assist. The MFR Dive Team responded. The car was found to be submerged up to the truck with the passenger door open. With heavy dew on the ground there were vehicle tracks leading into the water but no footprints leading out. Authorities say a shoe was also found floating nearby. The MFR Dive Team found no one inside the vehicle and did a quick search to clear the area around the vehicle. MPD (Montgomery Police Department) recorded the tag and contacted the owner. At this time no one has come forward as a witness or driver. An investigation is ongoing.
