Single-vehicle Crash Claims the Life of a Selma Man
From the West Alabama Newsroom–Â A Selma man is killed in single-vehicle crash in Lowndes County.
ALEA State Troopers say 33 year old Calvin Drake, Jr. was killed when the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche he was driving left the roadway and overturned.
They say the crash happened Wednesday at around 5:45 p.m. on U.S. Highway 80 near Alabama 97 near the 113 mile marker.
Troopers say Drake, who was not wearing a seatbelt was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
