Students in Dallas Co. Head Back to School

From the West Alabama Newsroom–  Students in the Dallas County Schools kicked off a new school year Monday.

Superintendent Don Willingham says he’s looking forward to another successful year.

“I feel strong about where we’re headed. I think our graduation rates are going to continue the pattern we did last year which was ninety-two percent,” he said.

“Everybody is upbeat and its going to be a wonderful year.”

The Dallas County School district has twelve schools — and serves about 34-hundred students.
