Body of School Board Member Beverly Ross Laid to Rest
Funeral services were held today for Montgomery Public School Board member Beverly Ross.
Over three hundred people gathered at Resurrection Catholic Church to pay their respects. Ross died thursday afternoon after she was hospitalized from what sources say was a stroke.
Ross was first elected to the school board in 2004 and was re-elected in 2010.
She served as board president from 2008 to 2010.
Those close to Ross remember her commitment to her students.Â
