Montgomery Man Involved in Fatal Wreck in Chilton County
Alabama State Troopers say a wreck between two tractor-trailer trucks in Chilton County left one driver dead.
State troopers say Michael David Kolarchick, 58, of Birmingham was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer driven by Jejuan Powell of Montgomery. Â
State troopers say Kolarchick was pronounced dead at the scene, while Powell was not injured. Â
The crash happened at 5:20 a.m. on Interstate 65 one mile south of Clanton. Â State troopers are still investigating what led up to the crash.
