New Downtown Shuttle Offered for Troy Trojan Fans

It’s Friday which means football’s on the mind and Troy fans have a lot to look forward to tomorrow.

 
This is a new era in Trojan football, tomorrow the Trojans will walk on to Larry Blakeney field for their first home game with Head Coach Neal Brown. 
 
Also new this season- there’s a downtown shuttle for fans. It’s free and starting at 2 in the afternoon it’ll run from the square to right across from the stadium. It’ll run back and forth until two hours after the game ends. 
 
This shuttle will allow fans to enjoy downtown sales and specials during tailgating. Fans are excited to see  Neal Brown and the Trojans for the home opener. 
 
Lindsay Davis, a Troy Fan said, “I think that he will be a good asset to Troy. He’s young and I think he’ll be able to bring in some new ideas.”
 
 
Kickoff against Charleston Southern at Veterans Memorial is at 6. 
 
Also tomorrow- more than 2,000 middle school and high school band members representing 26 bands will perform alongside the Sound of the South Marching Band.
