Hundreds Came Out to the 7th Annual Walk/Run at Eastchase
The Family Guidance Center held its 7th annual Walk/Run today at Eastchase.
The event attracted more than 500 participants and volunteers for race day, and involved runners and walkers of all ages.
A patriotic theme honored both the significant timing of the event around 9/11, and the proud tradition of those serving in the military at Maxwell and Gunter, and abroad.Â
In addition to the 5K and 10K courses, many of the stores at The Shoppes at EastChase opened early and offered discounts for participants.
