Changes are coming to the Green Square Neighborhood’s Community Center
The group “rebuilding together”, along with 30 charter cable employees were on hand this morning as crews began work on rebuilding the community center.Â
Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange was also there to help with the groundbreaking, as part of the Tranformation Montgomery movement.
Officials say the center will be the center of the 130-home neighborhood, and will be home to a community and learning center with tutoring and after-school programs, job training, and other benefits.
Charter Communications’ initiative “charter our community” hopes to improve 25-thousand homes over the next five years.Â
