Fans of Hank Williams Senior Gathered to Celebrate his Birthday
Fans of country music artist Hank Williams Senior gathered together in Montgomery to celebrate Williams’ 93rd birthday.
The commemoration kicked off this morning at the Oakwood Cemetery Annex, where Williams’ is buried. There was gospel singing, and a moment of prayer.
The celebrations then moved to the Hank Williams Museum in downtown Montgomery.There was food and vendors for people to enjoy.
Fans from all over the country came together to play, sing, and celebrate Williams’ music.Â
Hank Williams senior was born on September 17th, 1923.
The Hank Williams Museum has celebrated the musicians birthday every year since they opened sixteen years ago.
