Perry Co. Restrooms Finalist in Cintas’ America’s Best Restroom Contest

From the West Alabama Newsroom–  A public restroom in Perry County is a finalist in a national contest to find the best public restroom in America.

The restrooms at Perry Lakes Park near Marion are one of ten finalists that have been named in the 14th Annual Cintas’ America’s Best Restroom Contest.

The rest rooms were designed and built by students with the Auburn University Rural Studio Architecture Program.

Alex Henderson is a construction coordinator with the program.

“The three rest rooms are all unique,” said Henderson. “They all offer a very particular view of the landscape, so you’ll have an experience that’s like none other inside these rest rooms.”

Public voting for the best rest room contest is open until the end of October. To cast your vote go to www.bestrestroom.com.
