Troy Police Arrest Man for Shooting, Searching for Second Suspect
20-year-old Javon Keontre Pryor was arrested on outstanding warrant for attempted murder Sunday, December 13th during a traffic stop by Alabama State Troopers. He was taken to the Pike County Jail on $50,000.00 bond. Pryor was arrested for the December 8th shooting in Troy.
Officers responded to the shots fired into the passing car, around noon on Gibbs Street between Butter and Egg Road and Highway 29 North. There were no injuries in the shooting. Â Officers are searching for 19-year-old Samtarius Antonio Austin of Troy, a second suspect in the shooting. He is described as 5’8 160 pounds and sometimes goes by the the name Sam Austin. Officers say is considered armed and dangerous.
