Weather Forecast Thursday

This unseasonably mild weather pattern remains over the region through Sunday.  Daytime temps will climb into the mid to upper 70s each afternoon. Average high temps are around 60 degrees so we are running about 10 to 15 degrees above where we should be for this time of the year.  Looks like we will have to pay for this much warmer weather.  A strong cold front arrives and kicks off a line of t-storms Sunday night into early Monday.  Some of the storms will be strong and possibly severe.  The main threat will be straight line damaging winds but we can’t rule out a few tornadoes.  This system departs and our weather returns to sunshine and mild conditions Monday afternoon and continuing through Wednesday.  Our next rain maker moves into the area late Wednesday night and lingers into Thursday.
