Sammy Dee Jackson Convicted of Murder and Attempted Murder
Sammy Dee Jackson, is convicted of murdering his oldest son, Sammy Demondre (Dre) Jackson and for the attempted murder of his other son, Shyheim Jackson.
Authorities say the jury deliberated for an hour in the case.
On November 9, 2013 Jackson armed himself with a 12 gauge shotgun and shot both sons in their home. Dre was a senior at the time.
Sentencing for Jackson is set for February 4, 2016.
