Rain On The Way

High pressure has provided us clear and dry conditions but now the high is moving eastward.  This will allow a cold front to head our way. Showers and a few t-storms will develop ahead and along the frontal boundary Wednesday into Thursday morning. We don’t see a severe  storm threat but there could be a few strong ones moving through here.  Rainfall could be generous with .50 to 1.50 possible. Clearing will be rapid behind the frontal passage Thursday.  This will put us back into a sunny and dry pattern going into the weekend.  Unlike the temps recently, much colder air will spill in behind the system, so look for daytime highs in the 50s and overnight lows in the 30s throughout the weekend.  An active weather pattern returns early next week.  Looks like cloudy and wet conditions through at least next Wednesday.  We may see the clouds and rain depart just in time for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
