Man Dies of Injuries in Montgomery Wreck
Montgomery police say a man has died of injuries he received in a two-car wreck several days ago.
Police say on Saturday night, Jan. 2, they responded to a crash on Eastern Boulevard at Carmichael Road. The driver of one car, 69-year-old Michael Spurlin of Talladega, was taken to the hospital with injuries that had been thought to be non life-threatening. However, police say his condition worsened and he died Wednesday, Jan. 6.
Police say the driver of the other car wasn’t seriously hurt. Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the crash.
