Late Week Rain Ahead

We remain in a sunny and dry weather pattern through Thursday of this week.  Daytime highs will climb into the upper 50s to lower 60s by Thursday afternoon.  Overnight lows will come up as well with 40s returning by Friday morning.  As temps warm moisture increases and leads to a good chance for rain Friday. Rainfall amounts will range between .25 to .50 inch with this round.  Model data is hinting at the chance for precipitation Saturday night into Sunday.  This will all depend on the track of a low pressure system moving across the Gulf.  There’s also the possibility near freezing temperatures could be present around the time the precipitation would be moving through our area. Obviously, this time of year we have to watch closely gulf systems along with the placement of the cold air.  The models are not in agreement on any kind of wintry precipitation for us but that could change.  We will keep you posted!
