Wet Start To The Weekend

A disturbance moving up from the gulf will be a rain maker early Friday.  Heaviest rain will fall over extreme southern Alabama while a quarter inch will be possible across our area.  This system doesn’t stick around and we may see some breaks in the clouds Friday afternoon.  A fairly decent Saturday is on tap but another gulf system will bring in some rain Saturday night into early Sunday.  Looks like mainly a chilly rain for us but North Alabama may see a little wintry mix.  A strong surge of cold air moves into the region early next week.  We will see lows back into the mid 20s while daytime highs struggle through the  40s.

TONIGHT: CLOUDY SKIES WITH RAIN LATE. WIND EAST 3-6. LOWS 40-45

FRIDAY: CLOUDY/RAIN EARLY THEN PARTLY SUNNY. WIND WEST 4-9. HIGHS 58-62.
