More Rain Overnight, Warming Trend Ahead

One batch of rain departs but another round will move through our area overnight. A disturbance will move up from the gulf bringing rain to east and southeast Alabama.  Not expecting anything heavy or severe with this round. The clouds and light rain will be departing as we start our Thursday and I’m thinking most area’s get in on sunshine by afternoon. The rest of the week and upcoming weekend look really nice.  High pressure over the area will allow for abundant sunshine and warming temperatures. We should see upper 60s to 70s for highs right through Tuesday of next week.  This warm up will come ahead of another cold front advancing toward the area.  The front will usher in a round of strong to severe storms Tuesday into early Wednesday. After the storms depart, it’s back to sunny and cooler weather for later next week.

TONIGHT: MOSTLY CLOUDY AND COOL. RAIN RETURNS OVERNIGHT. WIND NORTH 4-8 MPH. LOWS 36-40

THURSDAY: MORNING CLOUDS/SHOWERS THEN BECOMING MOSTLY SUNNY. WIND NW 5-10 MPH. HIGHS 57-62
