We are now in a mostly clear and dry weather pattern that plans to stick around through the upcoming weekend. High pressure will provide us mostly sunny days along with clear and cold nights. Temperatures will only manage mid to upper 50s for highs while overnight lows hover in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Changes are on the way as the weather pattern becomes more active next week. A couple of clippers will move down from the north. Both will bring in much colder air as they pass through our region. You can expect highs only in the 40s and overnight lows in the 20s. Some moisture will accompany the one on Monday so we can’t rule out a few sprinkles or showers. Fortunately, the bitter cold air doesn’t last long and a warm up will kick in late next week.
