Rep. Martha Roby Picks Up Two Endorsements

annrobymarthausrepresentative.jpgThe U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Congresswoman Martha Roby in her re-election campaign for Alabama’s second district.

Chamber officials says they support Roby because she values the free enterprise system, supports the highway bill, and supports bills like the Keystone pipeline, which will help create more jobs in the state.

Roby has earned a 91 percent rating by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the highest rating in the Alabama delegation.

Lt. Governor Kay Ivey also announced that she’s throwing her support behind the congresswoman. Ivey, who serves as Chairman of the Alabama Job Creation and Military Stability Commission, says she appreciates Roby’s leadership regarding our national defense.

Roby is facing Wetumpka Tea Party founder Becky Gerritson in the GOP primary.
