A very windy and cold air mass has a hold on the deep south through Wednesday.  Strong northwest winds will continue to usher in the cold air.  Temps will drop into the mid 20s but wind chill values will make it feel more like the upper teens and lower 20s. This latest cold snap will retreat and allow temps to recover by late week.  Looks like daytime highs will make it back into the 60s both Thursday and Friday.  More cold air arrives over the upcoming weekend.  Overnight temps will drop back into the 20s once again. Fortunately, there will be plenty of sunshine so a despite the cold the skies will be nice throughout the weekend.  A disturbance slides into the area early next week. Mostly cloudy and rainy conditions can be expected Monday but back to sunshine and 60s Tuesday into Wednesday.
