Suspect in Custody After Carmichael Road Shooting

Police have 32-year old Michael Morris in custody after a shooting Wednesday afternoon in Montgomery.

Montgomery police say officers responded to the 5200 block of Carmichael Road, at the La Quinta Inn, on a call of a subject shot. The victims injuries are considered non-life-threatening. Police say charges are still pending against the suspect in custody.

Morris is being held in Montgomery County Jail under a $60,000 bond.
