Corey Wilson has been arrested by Alabama State Troopers and charged with three counts of Reckless Murder. He is being held in the Elmore County Jail. His bond has been set $15,000 per count.

The September 26th crash claimed the lives of Aeriel Bernstein, 20; Savannah Huggins, 21; and Devon Gibbons, 18, all of Millbrook. Officials say none of them were wearing seat belts, and they were pronounced dead at the scene. Wilson and another passenger’s injuries were treated at a local hospital. The preliminary investigation indicated narcotics may have been a factor.

The crash occurred at 1:30 a.m. on Coosada Parkway just over a mile from Millbrook. ALEA officials say the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe left the roadway and struck a tree before catching fire.
