Auburn softball preps for BC, Tiger Invitational
AUBURN, Ala. (auburntigers.com) —Auburn Softball returns to action at home this week with a Thursday evening game against Boston College (5:30 p.m.) before hosting the Tiger Invitational Friday through Sunday.
Head coach Clint Myers has the Tigers (10-1) entering the weekend ranked No. 3 in both the NFCA and USA Softball polls. Auburn has earned run-rule victories in six of their first 11 games and are averaging 12.6 runs a game.
Auburn and Boston College are joined by Indiana State, St. John’s and Western Illinois to fill out the field for the Tiger Invitational. Auburn owns a 5-0 home record this season.
