The area of low pressure continues to move away from our region tonight. In its wake the winds remain gusty but will slowly relax a bit overnight. Clouds will decrease with skies becoming partly cloudy through the night. Much colder air spills into the area and temps start out in the mid to upper 30s Thursday morning. We get mostly sunny skies but temps only manage the mid to upper 50s Thursday afternoon. The cold snap continues into Friday but a slight warming trend begins over the weekend. Looks like mid to upper 60s return for daytime highs while overnight temps still remain in the 30s. Our next rain event is setting up for early next week. Showers will move through Monday but we may see another round of stronger storms Wednesday into Thursday.
