Alabama Legislators to Support Rubio in Presidential Race

Marco Rubio Presidential BidToday, the Marco Rubio for President campaign is proud to announce the support of a growing group of Alabama legislators supporting Marco ahead of the March 1 primary.

“Our party needs Marco Rubio and I am so happy that all these leaders across our state are joining with me in supporting him,” said Will Ainsworth, state chair for the Rubio campaign in Alabama. “Now that this field has started to winnow, it’s clear that any vote not for Marco is a vote for Donald Trump. We need our nominee to be a serious conservative that can win in November and that is what Marco Rubio will be.”

“I am proud that I can stand beside so many influential Alabama leaders today as we announce our support for Marco Rubio,” said State Senator Slade Blackwell. “Marco needs our support at the polls on March 1st because we need a nominee that can beat the Democrats in the fall and take back the White House so we can solve our nation’s problems through conservative principles.”
