The City of Troy Breaks ground on the expansion of Golden Boy Foods. The Troy plant will be the second larges t in Golden Boy’s network of 7 plants across North America. once the expansion is completed.

Officials say the 45, 000 sq. ft. expansion allows them more flexibility while continuing to grow as a maker of private label peanut butter.

“The plant will now gives us a finished goods area to actually move our production and grow the business inside, add a production line and then we can put our finished goods here,” says Plant Manager Robert Jacobs.
