Local Celebrites to Cut a Rug For Cancer Research

Later this month Montgomery’s local celebrities will put on their dancing shoes for a good cause.

They are taking part in Dancing with Celebrities. The fundraiser supports the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The money raised with be used for cancer research.

11 well-known Montgomerians are among the celebrities showcasing their dancing skills, including Alabama News Network evening anchor Darryl Hood.

Dancing with Celebrites will take place Saturday, February 27 in the Capital City Club Ballroom.
Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. The dinner and show will begin at 6:30 p.m.
