North Alabama Pedestrian Hit by Patrol Car.
Police officer reported hitting victim.
MADISON, Ala. (AP) – State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are investigating a wreck involving a Madison police officer and a pedestrian.
The wreck occurred early Wednesday at an intersection in north Madison.
The Madison officer was traveling on Wall Triana Highway when he reported hitting a pedestrian in the road. The female patient was taken to Huntsville Hospital with serious injuries. The officer involved in the wreck was not injured.
Madison police closed down a portion of Wall Triana Highway while they worked the wreck.
