TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) – A Tuscaloosa teen has been arrested after police say he shot another teen in the head while discussing playing Russian roulette.

Media outlets report that the shooting occurred Feb. 1 at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex. A group of teenagers were hanging out outside an apartment building talking about playing Russian roulette with a semi-automatic handgun.

Lt. Kip Hart says 19-year-old Trizell Spencer pulled out a gun, pointed it at a 16-year-old boy and pulled the trigger.

The victim was shot in the head and is still recovering from extensive injuries. Hart says he is expected to survive.

Spencer is charged with attempted murder. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
