Selma Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Boyfriend

THEARA COXMontgomery Police have made an arrest in a domestic violence assault case. On March 6, police responded to a call of a reported stabbing on the 100 block of Alabama Avenue.

Police say Theara Cox, 46, admitted to stabbing her boyfriend in the shoulder with a steak knife. The man was taken to UAB for treatment and is currently in stable condition.

Cox is being held on a $30,000 bond and charged with 2nd Degree Domestic Violence Assault.
