Funeral Plans Scheduled for Roderic Scott

Funeral plans have been set for a Robert E. Lee high School student killed in a car crash.

The students and faculty of Robert E. Lee High School will host a “School and Community Loose Change Drive” in an effort to assist the family of Roderic Scott with funeral plans.

Scott, a senior at Lee High School, was killed last week in a car accident.

Financial contributions will be collected Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 pm.  Financial contributions will be accepted at ServisFirst Bank. Donations can also be made at any ServisFirst Bank branch to The Roderic Scott Fund.

The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, March 12 at the Dunn- Oliver Acadome on the campus of Alabama State University. Viewing of the body is from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.  The funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m.
