DYLAN SAVOIE

The community is rallying behind a Montgomery police officer after one of his twin boys died suddenly earlier this week.

Dylan Savoie was going to turn two later this month. His mom put him down for a nap and when she came back she found him blue and unresponsive.

Friends and other police wives have been doing all they can to help the family in this time of grief. A GoFundMe was setup to help the family with funeral and other expenses. They’ve raised more than $17,000 in a day.

Tara Wizorek, Started GoFundMe page said, “No family should ever have to go through an experience like this. No family is ever prepared for something like this, certainly not financially. We just wanted to band together and drum up support from friends, family, and the community in order to help these parents get through this tragic time and to lift this financial burden off of them.”
The money that doesn’t go towards the funeral will go into a trust account for Dylan’s twin Cameron to help pay for college.
