Not a weekend washout!
The system that has caused all the heavy rain to our west is on the move tonight. It’s lifting northeastward and weakening as it does. We fall within the training precipitation field so this means a decent chance for rain tonight and Saturday. The system is absorbed in the upper level flow and departs the region, leaving us in a drier weather pattern Sunday into early next week. Despite the clouds and rain temps will still manage to climb into the upper 70s to lower 80s through the weekend. We could even see mid 80s by Tuesday but much cooler air returns later next week. Have a great weekend!
