Man Charged with Shooting into Occupied Vehicle

Sunday March 13th, officers responded to the area of Minter Ave. and Mabry St. in reference to a shooting into an occupied vehicle.

After arriving on scene, officers spoke with the victim who stated that they were stopped behind the suspect, 35-year old Donald Woods, at the stop sign when Woods got out of his vehicle and began shooting into the other vehicle, hitting the hood.

Officers made contact with the suspect in the 200 Block of L. L. Anderson Ave. and transported him to police headquarters.

A .40 caliber handgun was confiscated from the suspect.

Woods was arrested for Discharging a Firearm into a Occupied Vehicle.

He currently has no bond.
