Summer-like heat all across the region today. Our record high 89 degrees makes this the hottest day so far this year. It’s a one day event so don’t go putting away the cold weather gear just yet. A frontal boundary will move through tomorrow. You can expect an increase in cloud cover but little if any rain accompanies the front. This frontal system will stall and become stationary to our south. It’s along this boundary we expect disturbances to ride over and produce rain. We don’t see anything severe just occasional showers through Friday. A stronger cold front moves through the region over the weekend. Much colder air will spill into the area behind the frontal system. Morning low temps will drop back into the mid to upper 30s Sunday through Tuesday.
