Triumph Services is looking to make an impact on the lives of people with special needs in Montgomery. They say it’s all about giving people a second chance, and a sense of pride.
The non profit organization partners with the community to provide opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. The program got it’s start in Birmingham back in 2007, since then it’s grown, helping over 300 people. Triumph organizers say with the help of the city, as well as 25 donors, the group is now able to make that dream come true.
Triumph received $50,000 total from donors, and the city of Montgomery. So far they’re moving forward to purchase a building, as well as partnering with places like First United Methodist Church to help adults with special needs.
