Fans Cheer on the Troy Women’s Basketball Team

It the first win for the Troy Women’s Basketball Team in the Sun Belt Conference Championship since 1997.
The ladies beat Little Rock Saturday 61-60. They were greeted by dozens of fans in their return Troy, Sunday. Fans say the Troy Women’s Basketball team deserves the opportunity and are proud to see them on top.
“This is the time to get hot coming into the big dance and the field of 64. Its really good for the community here and its great for Coach Rigby and Coach Graf and all of the work they have done over the past couple of years to get the program turned around.”
The Trojans are set to play in the first round of the tournament against Oregon State Friday at 4 pm.
