Drive-by Shooting Leaves Two Dead in Wetumpka
A shooting in Wetumpka left two dead and two critically injured.
According to the Montgomery Advertiser, Daryl Hunt and Deosha Jackson were killed in the shooting. Roderick Jones and Jacoreian Jennings were critically injured.
Marcus Edwards of Wetumpka was taken into custody Saturday night, in connection to the shooting and is currently in the Elmore County Jail without bond.
The Wetumpka police chief says it appears to be a drive by shooting. The shooting happened at 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
Marcus Edwards is charged with 2 counts of Murder and 2 counts of Assault 1st.
He is being held at the Elmore County Jail on bonds totaling $700,000.
