Auburn softball rolls with the weather, plans Saturday doubleheader

AUBURN, Ala. (auburntigers.com) – Auburn softball has announced a time change for this weekend’s series against South Carolina in anticipation of inclement weather.

The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday at 2 and 5 p.m. instead of playing on Sunday. First pitch for Friday’s game is set for the regularly scheduled 6 p.m. time.

Friday, March 256 p.m.

Saturday, March 262 p.m.

Saturday, March 265 p.m.

An Easter Egg hunt will take place in between the Saturday doubleheader games and double coupon vouchers for the Strike Out Hunger campaign will be in effect. Fans can bring two cans of food on Saturday and receive a drink voucher for each game for the donation.

Fans can use either their Sunday’s game (Game #19) ticket or Saturday’s game (Game #18) ticket for entrance.  Sunday’s ticket location will be honored during the 2:00 pm game, while the Saturday’s ticket location will be honored during the5:00 pm game.  Auburn Athletic Events have a no re-entry policy but fans are welcome to stay in the stadium for both games.

Individuals who purchased the originally scheduled Sunday game that are unable to attend on Saturday can exchange their tickets for a future game.  Weather related exchanges are limited to only mid-week non-conference games and SEC Sunday games based on ticket availability.  The original ticket must be present at the time of exchange.
