A frontal boundary over the panhandle will play a role in our weekend weather. It’s stationary now but it makes a move to the north on Saturday. This will increase cloud cover and eventually lead to rain Saturday evening into Sunday. Another cold front to our west will advance eastward into the area Sunday. This puts us in a rather rainy weather pattern for the latter part of the weekend. Rainfall amounts could reach .50 to 1 inch in spots. High pressure slides into the area early next week. We dry out briefly before another rain maker works into the deep south Wednesday through Friday.
