Young Boy Drives Car After Driver Suffers Diabetic Episode
A 10-year old boy is credited with possibly saving lives Thursday.
The young boy was a passenger in a vehicle in which the driver was having a diabetic episode and was hindered for controlling the vehicle.
An investigator for the Attorney General’s office noticed a vehicle that was swerving on I-65 near exit 181. The investigator attempted to get the vehicle to pull over but wasn’t successful.
An Alabama State Trooper then got involved and eventually got the car to pull over.
The driver was taken to a local hospital, and the young boy was taken to a local fast food restaurant for a meal to wait for family members to arrive.
The young boy possibly saved his life, the driver’s life and any other driver on the road at the time.
